We tried to avoid McDonald’s while on our trip, but stopped once for dinner. They have a fried shrimp, ebi burger.

It was OK, but tasted quite a bit like a McChicken.
Comparing food prices between Japan and home, things seemed quite comporable. This was meals for three of us. 
It came to less than $20 Canadian, which is about the same as at home.

Then we continued exploring Shabuya.











We visited Karaoke-Kan in Shinjuku, which is a chain:
You can barely hear other people singing around you.
First you have to warm up.
Then you get the hang of it.
