The oldest temple in Tokyo, it was crowded with people.
On each side, there are souvenir shops and snacks.

It was nice to find a place to escape the crowds and burn off some steam.
This was a beautiful little restaurant.
About 30 minutes from downtown, we stayed in a nice hotel on the ocean.
Pijamas ( yukatas ) are provided in many hotels. So are toothbrushes!
The black ones are charred bamboo bread, the green are matcha green tea bread.
I had never had lotus root before this trip and it is delicious.

Not a lot of room to move with 3 beds. There’s no such thing as a king hotel bed.
